The Living Green Children’s Chorus was created by Cathy Block in late 1999 and is a performance group of children ranging in age from pre-school to high school. Its purpose is to provide high-quality entertainment while raising awareness and funds for land preservation. The group performs original family-oriented music.

The members of The Living Green Children’s Chorus gain valuable performing experience while simultaneously contributing to their community through their benefit performances.

The Buckingham Township Civic Association is a sponsor of the Living Green Children's Chorus and provides the non-profit "umbrella" under which the chorus does its fund raising. Funds raised by the chorus through tickets sales, performance fees, or donated by third parties go into a special fund managed by BTCA (BTCA AG Preservation Fund).

Founded in 1952, BTCA is a civic association whose mission includes supporting township land preservation efforts.

As a sponsor, BTCA has provided assistance with various administrative, legal, and outreach efforts necessary to produce performances of the Living Green Children’s Chorus.
